Pakistan launches joint military exercises with Russia and Oman
Most outlets reported the commencement of two joint military exercises between Pakistan, Russia, and Oman, naming the specific editions (Druzhba-IX and Washaq Al Jabal-II or Al Bashiq Al Jabal-II) and their locations. Several also highlighted the focus on counter-terrorism and enhancing military cooperation. The Express Tribune and Business Recorder led with the counter-terrorism angle, while others, like 24 News HD and Associated Press of Pakistan, provided more detail on the editions and locations. Pakistan Observer mentioned the exercises as a "major boost to defence cooperation," a framing not used by other outlets.
