--- title: "Islamabad traffic diversions announced for two days due to road closures" description: "Most outlets led with the announcement of road closures and traffic diversions in Islamabad for October 24 and 25, specifically mentioning the routes from Rawal Dam Chowk to Kashmir Chowk and from Serena Hotel to Kashmir Chowk. While all excerpts emphasized the two-day closure and the involvement of the Islamabad Traffic Police, some outlets provided additional details such as advising residents to plan accordingly or noting the date as 2026, which appears to be a typographical error. Framing was largely consistent, with no significant differences in emphasis or tone across the excerpts." url: https://harzaviya.com/stories/16210-roads-leading-to-kashmir-chowk-closed-for-two-days-itp site: HarZaviya language: en --- # Islamabad traffic diversions announced for two days due to road closures pakistan · updated 24 Oct 2026, 12:49 PM PKT · 24 Oct 2026 · 5 articles from 5 outlets **HarZaviya summary** — how 5 outlets covered this, generated automatically from their headlines and excerpts: > Most outlets led with the announcement of road closures and traffic diversions in Islamabad for October 24 and 25, specifically mentioning the routes from Rawal Dam Chowk to Kashmir Chowk and from Serena Hotel to Kashmir Chowk.
